Which present is mine??

Today is Christmas Eve! And I am chuffed to the bits to report that there is no snow on the ground! Not a single flake. The Christmas tree is up and beautiful. Although, as I mentioned previously, the girls neglected to bring me along to put up the tree. But I have graciously forgiven them. A couple nights ago, I did a little snooping. I just want to know which present is mine!



Ohhh I just can't wait!! I am sure the girls got me something stupendous! They love me so much. And who can blame them? We have such jolly good times together. I also took some pictures of my favorite ornaments!

This is the newest addition to the Christmas tree. Steph said she fell in love with this sheep. I think it's not too baaaaad.

I thought this candy cane was real. It. was. not.

I love this snowman! Despite the fact that I don't like real snowmen. ugh.


This is a marshmallow on skis. Blimey, it's cute.

And this star. Reminds me of the Star of Bethlehem.

So, I know this was a quick post, but I just have so much to do to get ready for Christmas day!!

Five More Days!

We finally had our first real snow. Woohoo...I'm filled with joy...But on the bright side, it already melted. I managed to capture a couple pictures of the monstrosity before that happened. Frankly, I didn't care about the pictures, but Ringo seemed to want memories of his first snow.

I couldn't take much more of it. I had to walk away.

Ringo stayed a while longer, he was utterly fascinated by it.

I let him stay there for a while longer. I think he is barmy, but if he wants to freeze his end off, that's his problem, not mine. Give it a couple weeks and he'll come to realize it's not all that great.

One more thing, if any of you have seen this scarf, please inform me as soon as you can. I seemed to have misplaced it, or someone filched it. Either way, I am very gutted about it.

Countdown: 12 Days

Twelve more days until Christmas finally arrives. My oh my this year is flying by! I hope you all have started your shopping (don't forget my list!) because before we know it, Christmas will have come and gone, and it will be 2012!
In honor of this Christmasy spirit, we decided to make Ginger S'mores last week! They were easy peasy to make and a blinding success for all...four people who tried them...

This is all you need to make them! Ginger snaps, marshmellow cream, and chocolate! Seriously, could this BE any easier?

When Steph and Jodi weren't looking, I tried helping Ringo into the bag to filch a few cookies. Team work, we have it!
Here I am, helping Jodi put marshmellow cream between two cookies.

We found that the marshmellow cream is...quite creamy...so it is best to do this fast and set them in the fridge for a few minutes.

Ringo testing out the sprinkles to make sure they are up to code. We chose to dip AND drizzle the chocolate. I am putting the sprinkles on the dipped ones. I must say, I did a fantastic job! I mostly had to steer clear of Steph and her crazy chocolate spatula...
After setting in the fridge for a few minutes, Ringo and I were able to enjoy these brill little treats!

It left me quite parched, so I took a sip of Jodi's drink.

Oddly enough, I slept like a baby that night...hm...

Before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye to Jodi. It made me quite sad so I decided to pack up and head to her house for a while. Ringo was getting pretty lonely without me. Besides, I am slightly bitter that Steph didn't think to let me out of her room so I could help her, Tasha, and Jodi put up the Christmas tree. I can't bloody open the door myself, woman! I tried, really I tried.

Well I am off to find my scarf, Jodi forgot to lay it out for me and I just can't wait to put it on! It is rather parky in her room!

Getting Into the Spirit!

I just want to start off by saying how rude it was of Steph and Jodi to go see Breaking Dawn (AGAIN) with Jolene and didn't think to bring me! Can you believe it? I guess I shouldn't be too surprised considering they tend to forget my existence when it comes to Twilight...I am also not impressed with the fact that after wearing the same New Moon button for a year, it was removed from me and never given back! THE NERVE! I am pretty sure Steph has it and forgot to put it back on...which I would appreciate her doing so immediately. I guess I shouldn't complain too much since I did just get to travel to Florida with Steph and we left Jodi behind...

Well it's that time of the year, everyone! I think it is time for me to bust out my awesome scarves. Particularly, this one given to Jodi by none other than Steph. I, of course, filched it the second Jodi took her eyes off it. I think it looks quite dashing on me, just ignore the ghastly white stuff in the background. I always do...

Thankfully that picture was taken from the last winter or two, we have not had the..."pleasure"...of seeing snow collect on the ground yet. I asked Jodi if she thinks we will be lucky enough to have a short winter. She just laughed, patted me on the head, and said "you're too cute". I know I am, but I'm not sure what that had to do with my question. Come to think of it, I believe she was laughing AT me...Blast! How did I not see that sooner?

So if you recall, last year I made a Christmas list for everyone so that there would be no confusion as to what I'd like. Well, imagine to my disbelief, when the day came and I received NOTHING at all. "Isn't two warm homes and the love of two amazing women enough?" said the sisters...NO! As a matter of fact it is not.

I think I need to retract my earlier comment about two warm homes and love not being enough. I fear they might make me live on the streets in the winter to prove a point. So yes, retracting comment.

Stay tuned for more, next week should be a blast with Jodi staying the night at Steph's for a couple days. I can only imagine the crazy and insane things they will be up to next week. For example...putting up a Christmas tree, watching Friends, making cookies...you know, CRAZY STUFF!
