A Week With the Sisters

Well, this week has been quite a blast staying at Steph's with Jodi. I will just get right into the pictures and even a little timeline of what we did!

Day 1: Jodi, Kevin, and I brought Steph some amazingly delicious pizza and breadsticks. Later we watched Interview With a Vampire, which Steph screamed twice. I eventually sat beside her so she would feel more safe!

Day 2: Steph, Jodi, and I ventured to Wal-Mart to get some stuff to make S'more goodness!

Do all humans carry socks in their car door? You sure are a rare breed.

Head banging to some Paramore

YEAH!

WOO!

If they are going to put a lid with a hole on a frosty, maybe make the hole big enough to fit a spoon!

Once we were back at Steph's house we began the task of making S'mores cookie bars and S'more cookies!
I offered my assistance to mix the batter for the bars since Jodi was making a dreadful mess!

Halfway done with the bars! Look at all that chocolate. And let me just say, the next step of spreading on the marshmellow cream was NOT a fun task, Jodi had to take over for me.

While Jodi did the marshmellow cream, I helped Steph cute up the chocolate bars for the cookies. I think she was a little nervous about me using a knife.

Did Jodi seriously just slap my paw away? The nerve!

How delightful everything turned out!

Day 3: Jodi had the day off so we lounged around the house until Steph came home from work. After that we took a little road trip on the back roads of this lovely county.

Ahh fresh country air

Giant....marshmellows?

I felt compelled to sit on them.

Found a creepy old Amish school with a little playground. I just had to try out the slide!

Oh deary me, straighten out!!

Phew! Just in time!

Since I have a slight problem holding onto the ropes on either side, I decided the swing works just as well as a sun bathing seat.

Right now she is telling Steph "please let me inside away from this scary panther!" She must have sensed my hunger.

This is what you will see every 5 minutes on these back roads.

Yes, I am aware of my nose crowding the picture, but Jodi said she feared I was about to fall out the window. I think it was actually because of the two Amish boys watching us...

Photo op with Jodi!

Some people have to run all the fun!

I felt slightly nauseous in what appears to be a time warp zone!

And since the girls know me so well, we stopped by a farm to look at the animals.

I am pretty sure that little white llama laying down is sizing me up

The cows across the road would not stop mooing at us. No worries, though, I scared them off!

So there you have it! Tonight we are just going to relax with a movie and some snacks before Nick comes home. Hopefully we will get to have more adventures like this soon! It's a dreadfully rainy day and both girls are at work so I am just going to lay in bed until they get here.

Have a great weekend!

Good Ol' Nature

Just thought I would give you all a quick update. Jodi came by the other day to pick up some books from Steph's and I decided to go home with her. I have been at Steph's for quite some time so I figured it was high time to head to Jodi's. I thought I would share some pictures as to why it is so brilliant being at Jodi's.

It is hard to see from this photo, so I added arrows to assist you. Squirrel!!

*Ahhhh* so relaxing! I could lay here for days!

I like to sit here and wait for the birds to approach the feeder...

P.S. there are so many more reasons, but I did not have enough time to take pictures of them because of a squirrel that ran by about the time I took that last picture, hense the blurriness of the photo.

Cheerio!
